Note: While this is the end of the trilogy, I do feel that the author left room to come back and add more stories to this series in the future.
Also, this reads well as a standalone novel. Many questions about past events are explained. This helped me out, a lot. Because even though I have read all three of the books in the series it has been years since I read the last one. I was able to fall right into the story where it began and I felt that the author did a great job of explaining important events in the timeline prior to this book.
