Red Sparkle Stone has run for her life.  For almost her entire life.

Orphaned at a young age when an Animagus killed her mother, Red killed the Animagus and ran for her life.  Running from danger into danger, Rae found herself saved by a beautiful monster who then enslaved her.  As a slave, Rae knew only constant hunger and fear as she was sold to different masters.  When she is finally purchased from a Tavern Owner by the beautiful Empress Elisa, she is freed from her shackles and adopted by the Royal Family.

When the Royals attempt to adopt Red as one of their own, plans begin to tumble and the future of the kingdom itself is in jeopardy.  As a last ditch attempt to save the kingdom and find the traitors, Red joins the Royal Guard.  Something no woman has ever done before.  Not only must Red survive the training, she must survive the traitor that lurks within the midst of the Guard Trainees.  The traitor who wants to bring down the kingdom and is willing to take down anyone in their way.

Anyone.
